Donations to NBCR&P are used strictly for operational costs, food, shelter adoption fees, placements costs, vet care, and fees for spaying and neutering.

Donating your time and in-kind services can involve activities such as the following:

bulletIf you normally order books through Amazon.com, you can do so through our website and we will receive a small percentage of the sale which will help defray the cost of our rescue efforts. (See our home page for the Amazon.com search engine.)
bulletProviding foster care for dog(s) in transition;

bulletFlyer circulation--posting them & keeping them current;

bulletPhone work--making preliminary calls, new family follow up, and yearly follow up, answering inquiries, responding to "dog wanted" ads to inform the parties of rescue options;

bulletPhotographing dogs needing homes for circulation flyers or web site publication, and new family photos;

bulletPet Taxi--to and from vets, shelters, owners, rescue groups;

bulletDrive for the Canine Underground Railroad (CUR) which transports dogs greater distances to other runners who, like you, are relaying animals to new homes far away;
